We advise all bidders to read the the following Terms & Conditions of Sale before bidding with Adam Breault Auctions. Those who bid are bound by these Terms & Conditions of Sale, as amended by any oral or posted notices, which together form the contract of the sale between the successfully bidder (purchaser), Adam Breault Auctions and the seller (consignor) of the bid.When bidding on any lot offered by Adam Breault Auctions, the bidder indicates acceptance of the following Terms & Conditions of Sale:
Sales Tax
All buyers will pay Michigan sales tax of 6% unless a valid Tax Exemption Identification is on file or presented at time of purchase.Buyer's Premium
A 13% buyer's premium will be added to all successful bids and is payable by the purchaser as part of the total purchase cost. A discount of 3% for cash and checks.Condition of Items
Adam Breault Auctions makes every effort to accurately describe all items offered in its sales, however all items for sale are "as is," and it is the bidder's responsibility (live or absentee) to determine the exact condition of each item. Adam Breault Auctions will not be held responsible for typographical errors. All items are available for preview via appointment or one hour prior to the start of the auction on the day of the auction.Absentee Bids
Adam Breault Auctions is pleased to offer absentee bidding via online, email or phone as part of our auction services. Bidders may preview, register and place bids online through our Web site. Online absentee bidding through Adam Breault Auctions is available the day of the auction up to one hour prior to the start of the auction. During the live auction, the auctioneer will execute your absentee bid competitively up to the maximum amount you have indicated.Reserves
The majority of the items are unreserved, but occasionally items carry a moderate reserve. Please note that when a lot carriers a reserve, the reserve is usually somewhat below our low estimate. In the case of a reserved item, the seller has authorized the auctioneer to bid on their behalf until the reserve price is reached.Payment
All merchandise must be paid for the date of sale. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, personal checks/certified checks, and cash. There is a 3% discount for paying with cash or check. Please make plans to make any and all payments via the aforementioned payment methods.Checks may be made payable to Adam Breault Auctions. Adam Breault Auctions reserves the right to hold items paid for by personal check until said check clears. Adam Breault Auctions has the right to hold all checks over $2,000.00, unless a letter of credit is provided from the bank. Customers who have an established successful buying history with Adam Breault Auctions may be exempt.
Note: There will be a $35.00 service charge for returned checks.
